Terms of service

The Fine Print (Yes, We Know)

Okay, look. Nobody grows up dreaming of writing terms and conditions, and we're guessing you didn't come to bunch. hoping for a legal document. But here we are - because flowers are seasonal, unpredictable, and occasionally have minds of their own, and we want to be upfront about what that means for you.

So here's the deal: this page covers the practical stuff - how our lucky-dip colourways work, what happens if a flower goes rogue on us, how pickup and delivery actually play out, and what we do (and don't) take responsibility for. It's not thrilling reading, but it is honest, and it's written the way we'd actually explain it to you in person - not in a way that requires a law degree to get through.

By placing an order with bunch., you're agreeing to the below. We've tried to keep it as plain and friendly as the flowers themselves. If anything's unclear, just ask - Bunch is a real person (just one in fact!) on the other end of this, not a legal department.

Our colourways (and why they're a bit of a lucky dip)

Every bunch. colourway is a mood, not a shopping list. We work with what's fresh, seasonal, and looking its best that week, which means the exact flowers in your bunch will shift from week to week — sometimes softer, sometimes bolder, always within the colourway you picked. The photos on our site and socials are a guide to the feeling, not a guarantee of the exact stems you'll receive. That's the deal with garden-gathered flowers, and honestly, it's half the fun.

Pickup

Roadside stall bunches are first-come, first-served on weekends — no ordering ahead, and once we're sold out, we're sold out. Studio pickup (for anything ordered ahead online) is available any weekday and is always free. We'll let you know when your order's ready.

Delivery

We offer local delivery on weekdays, with very-local delivery sometimes available on Saturdays. We never deliver on Sundays.

Delivery is generally handled by us directly, but occasionally we use a third-party courier to get your flowers to you. While we do everything we reasonably can to make sure your courier delivers on time, delivery windows are generally between 9am and 5pm, and we can't guarantee an exact time within that window. Once your order has left our hands and is with a third-party courier, we're not automatically responsible for delays, mishandling, or issues caused by the courier — though we'll always do what we can to help sort things out if something goes wrong.

Looking after your flowers

Flowers are living things, and how they're looked after after they leave us makes a real difference to how long they last. As a general guide:

  • Keep your bunch in fresh water, and top it up or change it every couple of days
  • Keep it away from direct heat (heaters, sunny windowsills, car dashboards)
  • Keep it away from fruit — ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which makes flowers wilt faster

We can't take responsibility for how a bunch is cared for once it's in your hands, but if something's not right with your flowers, please let us know within 12 hours of receiving them. We genuinely want to know if something's gone wrong, and we'll always look at what we can do to make it right.

Substitutions

Because we source seasonally, sometimes a specific bloom won't be available and we'll substitute it with something that fits the colourway just as well. We only ever substitute within the same look and feel - never a random swap that changes the vibe of your bunch.

Cancellations

If your plans change, get in touch as soon as you can. Because flowers are ordered and prepped ahead of time, cancellation terms depend on how close to your pickup or delivery date you let us know - the earlier, the more flexible we can be.

Liability

We take care in how we source, prepare, and deliver every bunch, but bunch. isn't responsible for issues arising from events outside our reasonable control - including but not limited to third-party courier delays, extreme weather affecting flower quality or delivery, or how a bunch is cared for after it's received.

Getting in touch

If anything in your order isn't right, or you're just not sure about something, reach out. We're a small, real operation - not a call centre - and we'd genuinely rather hear from you than have you leave it unsaid.
